Alamphu Jalabidhyut Bikas Company Pvt. Ltd. and Bigu Hydro Venture Pvt. Ltd. Sign MOU with Him Parbat Hydropower Ltd. for Transmission Line Sharing
Kathmandu, Nepal – October 1, 2024 – Alamphu Jalabidhyut Bikas Company Pvt. Ltd. and Bigu Hydro Venture Pvt. Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Him Parbat Hydropower Ltd. to collaborate on transmission line sharing. The agreement facilitates the transmission of electricity generated by the Mathilo Sagu Khola Small Hydropower Project (10 MW) and the Pegu Khola Small Hydropower Project (3 MW), both under Aviyan Group, through Him Parbat’s existing transmission infrastructure.
Under the MOU, electricity produced by Mathilo Sagu Khola Small HPP (10 MW), Sagu Khola 1 HPP (5.5 MW), and Pegu Khola Small HPP (3 MW) will be transmitted via a 33 kV transmission line from the switchyard of Sagu Khola 1 HPP (5.5 MW) to the switchyard of Sagu Khola HPP (20 MW). Further, the electricity will be transmitted through a 132 kV transmission line and connected to the Singati Substation of Dolakha.
